This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies BelcoTCG uses on belcotcg.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit it. They let the site remember things between page loads and between visits — for example that you are logged in, or what is in your basket.
We also use technologies that work like cookies but store data differently, such as local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. Wherever this policy says “cookies”, it means all of these.
2. Which cookies do we use?
We group cookies into four categories. Only the first category is placed automatically; the other three are placed only after you give consent.
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These make the shop work. Without them you cannot add products to your basket, log in, or check out. They cannot be switched off and they do not require consent.

2.2 Functional cookies
These remember choices you make so the shop is more convenient to use — for example a recently viewed product, a saved wishlist, or a dismissed notice. If you refuse them the shop still works, but it will forget these preferences.
2.3 Analytics cookies
These tell us how the shop is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, where they drop off, and whether something is broken. We use this only to improve the shop. Where possible the data is aggregated so it does not identify you personally.

2.4 Marketing cookies
These are used to measure and improve our advertising, and to show you relevant products on other platforms. They may be set by advertising partners and can be used to build a profile of your interests across websites.

We only place marketing cookies from a given partner once that partner is actually connected to the shop and you have accepted marketing cookies. If a partner in the table above is not currently connected, its cookies are not placed.
3. Your consent
When you visit belcotcg.com for the first time, you are asked whether you accept functional, analytics and marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are placed regardless, because the shop cannot function without them.
- You can accept all cookies, refuse everything that is not necessary, or choose per category.
- Refusing is as easy as accepting, and refusing does not restrict your access to the shop.
- Your choice is stored for 12 months. After that we will ask again.
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time (see section 4). Withdrawing consent does not affect data already processed lawfully before you withdrew it.

5. Cookies placed by other parties
Some cookies are set by companies that provide services to us rather than by BelcoTCG directly. We choose these parties carefully, but their own privacy and cookie policies apply to the data they collect:
- Shopify — the platform that hosts the shop and processes your basket, account and checkout.
- Payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, Mollie or iDEAL) — to process your payment securely and to detect fraud.
- Shipping partners (such as PostNL, DHL or DPD) — only where a tracking page is embedded.
- Advertising and analytics partners — only after you accept the relevant category.
6. Data transfers outside the EEA
Some of these providers are established outside the European Economic Area, or use servers there. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, that transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. 7. Your rights
Cookies can involve the processing of personal data. Where they do, you have the rights set out in our Privacy Policy: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove a service, or when the law changes. The current version always applies and carries the date shown below. If a change is significant, we will ask for your consent again.
